Phoenix Deserves Better
This resource list was compiled in an effort to encourage Phoenix to do right by the survivors who have come forward countless times only to be dismissed. In a way, its a call to action — educate yourself, inform your circle, share this information and do better. We cannot turn a blind eye to the abuse that happens in our city, we are complicit if we are silent. If you see, hear or know something about a predator or abuser in this community you have a responsibility to others to keep them safe. I know that Phoenix deserves better leaders in many spaces but especially in our arts community where people of all ages share their most vulnerable moments.

"Claiming cancellation is a convenient way to avoid acknowledging a sizable consensus from actual individuals who may be just as (or more) informed than you. It does not advance the conversation; people just argue past each other repeatedly with no resolution in sight. And that's exactly what people who have committed harm want—a confusing, draining conversation that doesn't go anywhere yet affirms their claims of victimhood. Abuse thrives in chaos."
